In The Wild!!!
Airplane fun!
4th of July Parade!
"Here Go Kayla, Sticker!!!"
Kenzie loves loves loves here little sister & she doesn't mind sharing with her-as long as it's not here blankie...-so she got this sticker at Springville's Art City Parade in June & she wore it all day long & loved it. After the carnival that night when we got home she pulled this big sticker off her shirt & gave it to Kayla........she says excited, "here go Kayla, sticker!"......luckly Kayla was sleeping soundly & didn't even notice where Kenzie put it......this is why I love kids!!!
MaKayla's Baby Blessing
What a special day! All our family & friends came to celebrate the arrival of sweet little Kayla. She brings such a sweet special spirit into our home. Thank you to everyone that came to the blessing we had so much fun!!! Especially thanks to those who travels quite far to get here! We appreciate you all & love you all & are so glad you came to celebrate Kayla's special event with us!
Happy 2nd Birthday MaKenzie!
The terrible 2's have definately arrived!!! Seriously, it's like I have a very small teenager in my house! :) We celebrated MaKenzie's birthday with the whole family, just a few siblings out of state couldn't make it but because MaKayla's blessing was the next day, just about everyone made it out to Utah and to the party that night! We had so much fun-presents & cake & pinata fun! Kenzie had a blast & she was so excited opening gifts! She is very fond of princesses right now-especially Arial so we got her a princess cake! :) Happy Birthday!!!

Laundry Day...or Days....
One thing is for sure...our laundry has doubled again with the addition of MaKayla...I forget how many outfits & onsies & burp rags little babies go through in one day! I still haven't caught up on all my folding & it's time to do laundry again! Kenzie loves playing with laundry baskets and helping me with the "wash." She decided as she was sitting in a laundry basket that she wanted MaKayla to sit with her in the basket. She we helped prop Kayla up & let Kenzie hold her in the basket. They sat there for several minutes and had tons of fun! MaKenzie is giving the camera a big goofy smile...when you tell her to smile she gives you a big huge smile & closes her eyes...it's cute...one of these days we'll get her to open her eyes when you ask her to smile for the camera...cute cute cute...:)
Kenzie shows Kayla the ropes
Kenzie loves to do everything with her sister from taking care of her to playing & dancing...yes the dancing gets interesting with Kayla not being able to hold her own head up yet and all! I got out a toy for Kayla to lay under and listen to the music & Kenzie climbed under and had so much fun showing Kayla everything on it...so cute!
Tiffany's Graduation!
Congratulations Tiffy! Here is a Brown family photo from Tiffany's graduation. It's just missing a few people-John, Joey, Jerry, Hayley, Misha, & my hubby Greg...(I hope I didn't miss anyone...if I did, I still love you!) We are so proud of you Tiffany! And thank you Greg for letting Tiffany have her special day on your b-day!
Nursing baby...
So MaKenzie loves to help me with everything having to do with her little sister. She is always taking care of either her little sister or her baby dolls. MaKenzie likes to sit by me a lot of times when MaKayla is nursing. I think she thinks it's kind of fasinating...or strange I don't know which. She then tells MaKayla to "eat!" The other day she was walking around with her doll and I told her to go feed her baby...I was referring to the play bottles that she uses with her dolls. Instead she did something totally new! She lifted her shirt & put her dolly up to herself & said to her dolly "eat!" Greg & I both looked at eachother in amazement & then burst out laughing & just smiled...

Comparing MaKenzie & MaKayla's newborn pics
Sisterly Love!
My labor with MaKayla was exactly 2 hours & 4 minutes from the 1st contraction till MaKayla was born. It was extremely fast-a little scary how fast & PAINFULL it was. They couldn't give me the epidural right away because the guy was busy with another patient :*( The baby's arrival almost beat the epidural's arrival and let's be honest-it only worked at the very end when I actually had her. Interesting how every pregnancy & labor is so different! Here is a picture of MaKenzie meeting "little sister" MaKayla, for the 1st time. This was taken probably about 30 minutes after MaKayla was born. I love this picture-it makes me think they are remembering eachother & happy to be together again...oh sisterly love! :)

We went to an Easter egg hunt on Saturday & MaKenzie participated in the hunt for her age group 0-3. Mommy was helping her & being somewhat new at this, I didn't realize that basically all the parents race each other to get there kid the most eggs. I just figured you help & let them pick up the eggs because it's more fun for them right? Well, that's apparently wrong. So when the horn sounded & everyone ran, MaKenzie started crying because it was a little scary...She was fine in about 15 seconds as we got on the field & looked for eggs...and I didn't see anything really. I saw one piece of candy that I had her pick up & then I looked around and all the eggs were gone! I was so upset because she only had one piece of candy in her basket & all these other toddlers are walking off the field with like 5-6 eggs each. This is when I realized that the parents were totally getting them the eggs & the hunt was already over less then a minute after the horn sounded! I'm sure MaKenzie didn't even notice she had no eggs....but I did...and being pregnant & hormonal I totally started crying! How embarrassing!!!! I could not help myself! A minute later a woman came up to us & asked if MaKenzie had got any other eggs & told us that she had some for kids who didn't get any. Yay! I was very happy about this because MaKenzie ended up getting some eggs in the end. On Sunday Greg & I took her in the back yard and had our own Easter egg hunt with 25 eggs. MaKenzie loved it! She ran around & filled her basket with eggs! When she woke up Easter morning the Easter bunny had left a trail of candy from her bedroom door to the couch where her basket was filled. When she saw the candy, she immediately started putting each piece in her mouth as she followed the trail...we had to put an end to this because that would have been a lot of candy consumed before she even actually reached her basket! We had a good Easter & hope everyone else did too!

Dancing with Isabell
New Year's Eve
We had a party at our house New Year's Eve night. This is MaKenzie with her cousins Charlie & Ryan eating some chips and salsa! Kenzie sure does love her cousins! We had a great New Year...after the the 1st 30 minutes at least....I spilled grape sparking cider on our carpet at the stroke of midnight...we spent the next 30 minutes getting the red out of the carpet so it wouldn't stain...luckly you can't even see it today! If you can enlarge the pic you can see Kenzie's big smile great! :)
Daddy & Kenzie
MaKenzie Sledding!
Over Christmas break we went to Canada and visited our Grandma. MaKenzie had a great time sledding with her daddy and Uncle Jon while we were there. Although she had a great time it was very cold and she got a lot of snow on her from going down the hill. Doesn't she look like she's just had the time of her life?
